Non-alcohol based herbs - it's possible!

I am a lover of herbal tinctures, which are alcohol based extractions of phyto-constituents, using varying alcoholic strengths depending on the constituents you want to extract. They can be potent, and are my go-to for my clients.

But not everyone can take alcohol based products, so what can we do?

I've recently expanded my repertoire to include using herbs in a powdered form. Its using the whole herb, finely ground, which I use in a herbal formula with other powdered herbs, or on its own, depending on my client's symptoms and root cause.

I then use a capsule maker to make it a more palatable option. These have been so popular with clients recently that i've invested in a larger capsule maker!

The challenge (MY challenge) is choosing the appropriate herbs for you, as I can't combine as many together in capsules as I would as a tincture. And making sure you don't rattle on your way to work as you are taking so many of them!

But you do get the benefit of the ENTIRE phyto-nutrient arsenal that each herb has to offer, as the whole herbs is powdered, not just an extraction of it.

As for the Bach Flower Remedies that I use in tinctures to support a client's emotional needs, these can instead be replaced with a standalone Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) version, so you are not missing out AT ALL.

If this sounds interesting and you want to know more, then get in touch.
